True Lime-based Plasters

Since true or natural lime based plasters are 100% natural ingredients, they are water, stain, and mold resistant.

Additionally,  true lime plaster has the unique quality of reflecting multi-nuances of color, which are only enhanced by the varied angles of sunlight that is reflected throughout the day.

Lime plasters are derived from hydrated lime, or lime grasello. The grassello is created by a process where mined limestone is fired at high temperatures in a kiln. This extracts the moisture contained within the stone. After this process you have a very dry, lightweight stone which is easily ground into a powder. This powder is then re-hydrated with water. The powder then becomes a very soupy like mixture. The soupy mixture is then aged for 6 months to a year. During the aging process, the lime powder soaks up the water and develops into a consistency similar to a stiff modeling clay.

After a little more processing this plaster ready for us to custom color tint to your specifications and then ready to create an absolutely beautiful wall!
